What does a font changer do?
The fullwidth range at U+FF01–U+FF5E holds a copy of every ASCII letter, digit and symbol sized to occupy a full CJK character cell. Made for mixing Latin text into Japanese and Chinese typesetting, it doubles as the “vaporwave” aesthetic. A font changer transliterates your text into that range, and the gallery view adds other Unicode styles beside it, all copyable as ordinary characters into bios and posts.
How to use the Font Changer
- 1 Feed the box the text you want restyled.
- 2 Compare the fullwidth and other looks in the gallery.
- 3 Copy whichever style suits your profile.
- 4 Swap it into your username or caption.
What you can use it for

- Giving captions and headings a distinct look.
- Adding a retro fullwidth vibe to posts.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install a font?
No. Fullwidth characters at U+FF01 onward already exist in the fonts your device ships with; the tool swaps your letters for those code points, and the wide look renders out of the box.
Why are the letters so far apart?
Fullwidth forms were designed to align Latin text with CJK characters, so each one occupies a complete square cell. That built-in width is exactly what creates the stretched aesthetic.
Will a fullwidth name work in games?
Hit and miss. Titles that allow Unicode names usually render it; competitive games and older launchers often lock names to ASCII. Test the name in the field before committing to it.
